Hi I'm Tobias a German art director with the focus on new media and club culture.
I took part in the urban art exhibition #kunstanschlag which was initiated by the cultural office of the city of Nuremberg from 17. — 27.07.2020. The Cross Media Night is an event series of the University of the Arts Offenbach to present new works in the field of audiovisual performance. Within the framework of the event, a moving image identity was created that includes video content such as trailers and animation loops as well as static print elements such as posters and flyers. Sound design of the animations: Zoé Mahlau. Event photos by Fenja Cambeis

The After School Club is a free art and design festival of students at Königsklasse at Hfg Offenbach for students from all around the world. Within one week numerous workshops, parties and talks about art and design take place. For the visual appearance Ksti Hu, Heimer and I came up with the idea to promote each of the invited artists and their workshops with an own logo. Personalized credit cards for the students served as name badges with which the offered workshops could be consumed as products.
The audiovisual performance in collaboration with the Berlin based producer Heimer tells the story of a constructed body that longs for an organic appearance within the framework of various transformations like destruction and growth until it finally recalls its constructed origin.
MOCBA deals with a three-part spatial concept for a public building that combines a museum club and café on 3 levels. The process of the visual identity was documented with the help of a book prototype, which is as experimental as the creation of the corporate design itself.
